There are two types of Thorium Ore veins – small thorium veins and rich thorium veins. Small veins can have up to 8 ore while rich can have up to 10. The rich veins have a higher percentage of gems mined.
Winterspring is the best place to farm thorium.
It can also be farmed in Silithus, Swamp of Sorrows, and Un’Goro Crater.
